"Independent family run hotel in a great location on the main square. The staff are very friendly and helpful and there is a bar with a good range of food and drink. "
"It was a bizarre hotel with lots of bad design features.
The toilet is dangerous if someone open the door it cad badly hurt the person in the toilet.

"Excellent location! When you arrive at the train station, take the funicular down and as soon as you get off turn right- the hotel is in that back corner beside cafe Milano. Rooms were recently renovated, great breakfast, and friendly staff. We would definitely stay here again. "
"typical Italian albergo, served by its owners. It is not luxurious, pretty simple instead, but fulfills it job at a very reasonable price. I will be happy to repeat it in the future"
"Very clean hotel friendly and helpful staff. Service and food
Excellent. Fantastic views over the lake and moumtains. A bit pricy but it is in Switzerland. Would stay again."
"I recently had the pleasure of staying at Hotel Rosa in Baveno, and it was a truly delightful experience. Nestled just a short walk from the lakefront and the charming center of town, the hotel offers a perfect blend of comfort, convenience, and warm Italian hospitality. I would wholeheartedly recommend Hotel Rosa to anyone visiting the region. Whether you're exploring the beauty of Piedmont or simply looking for a tranquil getaway, this family-run gem offers excellent value and a truly...

"Really enjoyed this hotel. Have a nice bar that you can also access from outside. Beautiful beach and pool area. It is about a 12 minute walk to the ferry. And sometimes it can be slightly noisy. My neighbor kept me up fighting with her boyfriend. Finally called down to the desk and they had it resolved in less than 5 minutes. My friends also got their laundry washed by hotel. So that was a great service. Lots of cruise liners (Viking) use that hotel. Again quite beautiful. "
"We had a 5 night stay at this wonderful hotel and everything was absolutely perfect.
The location is amazing overlooking the Lake with a short walk into the town.
There was a plentiful choice for breakfast and parking is also available.
A very enjoyable holiday! "
"A newly renovated and gorgeous hotel with friendly and helpful staff. Just steps from the funicular, this hotel was perfect for our stay in Lugano and exploring the surrounding region. The included Ticino ticket is a nice bonus but the value is in the quality and cleanliness of the rooms and beds and the premier food and drinks. I slept so well, even with a bruised ribcage. The included breakfast is really delicious with everything one could need to fill up and start the day. The restaurant and bar, Flamel, is incredible. The house cocktails are a must try that will change your perception of what a cocktail should be. The dinner is first class and every dish is a work of art.
An extra special touch is the foosball table in the lobby near the bar so we could have drinks while the kids played. I can't wait to go back and stay at this hotel again!"
"Just Google this wonderful Duchess of a Hotel. Everything was a joy, yes she is old and a little dated but that's the fun of the amazing experience of staying there."
