"The staff were very welcoming and efficient. Any requests were quickly dealt with. A great feature of our rooms were the extended counter tops to work on. Breakfast was really good - a huge variety to choose from and made provision for people with special dietary needs. Appreciated having ice water available at the coffee station in the foyer."
Holiday Inn Express & Suites Medicine Hat Transcanada Hwy 1 by IHG
10/10 Excellent
"Breakfast is great. Please add dairy-free alternatives such as oat milk! Pool is good. Waterside isn’t operating until 6pm though. We did ask and they turned it on early which was nice. Staff were very friendly."
"The room was clean. Bed comfortable. Plenty of space in the room. Felt good about the parking . Breakfast was from 5:30 am to 10:30 am. Washer and dryer available for a fee. Walking distance to Many restaurants and bars. Will definitely stay here next time we drive through."
"This property looks like 3stars or more hotel but advertised low value compared to its facilities. Meals is excellent. Hotel was new management and under renovation."
"Don’t hesitate to book a room here. This is our favorite hotel, and home away from home when visiting our children and grandchildren. We’ve now stayed here for a 1 week visit 6 times in the past few years. It’s always friendly, efficient clean and reasonably priced. The breakfasts are great for buffet style and Laslie is always there to make sure you’re fully satisfied with your meal. Evening popcorn fills the lobby with a homie fragrance while you grab a bag or two as you head to the room. And the pool area is second to none, especially for little ones like our 3 grandchildren. Thanks to all the staff who make this hotel the perfect stop on the road."
