Great place to stay--quiet end of the road but still on the lake. Breakfast was great, pool is awesome.
We had trouble with the AC which we didn't realize until it was time to go to bed. It was warm in our room overnight. The hotel crew tried to fix it the next day but were unable. To their credit, the management moved us to another room with working AC...and it was a bit of an upgrade,
I recommend the "luxury" rooms, which are significantly nicer than other rooms in the property. Other rooms seemed to have issues with the showers, mold, etc. but the luxury-type rooms were much more modern and clean. Service was good. Laundry was convenient. Location is very convenient.
Lovely hotel, a little oasis in the heart of Pokhara - overlooking the Lake. Great location. Staff were very welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. Highly recommend this hotel.
We were upgraded to the newer part of the hotel which was an added bonus
Very professional and friendly staff. They are always available to help you. The cultural nights are also good. Property is very pretty with a clear lakeside view.

Great location away form business of center center with stunning lake view. WiFi didn’t work at all and nothing done to fix it after a few complaints I just gave up and went to coffee shop down the road to work.
We stayed for 4 nights and were upgraded to a 4th floor pool view with balcony as apparently we had paid too much through Hotels.com for the garden hut. The room was clean and spacious with a great view of the lake. The staff were all very friendly and special shout out to Samah who was particularly efficient. The evening cover band and dance show was entertaining. Good location too. Only negative was that breakfast plates weren’t cleared away very quickly which encouraged flies and a couple of birds. But overall would definitely recommend.
My stay at Lake View Resort was made truly exceptional by the wonderful hospitality of Ms. Simran Chhantyal at the front desk. She greeted me with a warm smile upon arrival and was incredibly helpful throughout my stay, offering great local recommendations and ensuring every detail was perfect. Her personal touch made me feel valued as a guest. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, the room was spotless and beautifully decorated, and the amenities were top-notch. The location was perfect, right in the heart of the city with breathtaking views of the lake from my room.Highly recommend!
We really enjoyed our stay - but unfortunately, there was an issue with the hot water, which wasn't resolved till the morning we left, which meant we couldn't have a hot shower after our 6 day trek which was disappointing.
We had a comfortable 1 night stay prior to our trek, but unfortunately the accommodation provided for our Guide was not to an acceptable standard - with no light in the restroom & not clean. He had to book another hotel for our return visit after the trek.
Beautiful property ground and restaurant. Room floor rotting out at back wall and strong mold odor. Entire left corned of bathroom cabinet rotted out. All tile grouting needs cleaning.

Check in was terrible
When we arrived, check in person Mr Khadka (not sure if it was his real name) told online booking is expensive than at hotel, promoting agents. He did not help us find the correct room, showed us hut room and took us to another room where there was no lake view (not as per description of the room). He was in passive aggression with us and rude all the time. When we were communicating witj hotel.com regarding our booking. Hotel.com asked ua to send the room photo but he did not allow it and asked us to get out of the room. Room service and other staffs were great and professional.
Don’t expect to get typical friendly Nepali hospitality at this hotel. Also, I highly advise against eating here. My experience was as such: I arrived in Pokhara and only ate food served at this hotel for my 48-hour stay. On the morning of checkout, (6am), I felt extremely sick and feverish and had to be taken to a clinic to be treated for a very violent case of food poisoning. The doctor called the hotel, explained that I was very ill, and asked if my luggage could simply be left in the hotel room for a bit, even though it was checkout day, because I was undergoing testing, treatments, and observation. (Mind you, this is mid-December and nowhere near high tourism season.) They insisted I remove my luggage no later than 1pm. The doctor took out my IV drip and personally drove me to the hotel to help me get my luggage. Only when the hotel staff saw the IV port taped into my hand did they understand how my situation was. They tried to blame the misunderstanding on a language barrier, however the doctor called and spoke to them about my condition in Nepali. Due to the negligence of their food handling, I had to be hospitalized for 36 hours to the tune of 700 USD and they couldn’t even bother to just let me keep my luggage in the room for a few extra hours. This would be understandable if there were other guests that needed to check in, however, it’s December in Nepal and the property was next to empty. There are tons of properties at which to stay in Pokhara- go with any other.
I absolutely love this property location & grounds. I wish it wouldn’t change to have the pool overtaking the beautiful grounds. I recommended it to a group of friends who went there the week after I was there & they stayed there and also loved it. Thank you guys!
It was a memorable stay. The hotel was located not so far from the lake and the staff members were all very kind and generous. Everything was taken care of already. The room was neat and clean. Very much impressed with the overall management of the hotel. I would certainly recommend the Lake View Resort to the fellow travelers.
