Poitou-Charentes hotel rooms a the Relais & Chateaux

"The room is very small. There are no curtains just sheers. The hotel is well situated to visit LaRochelle and easy access to out of town. You really can’t cook or make food in the tiny kitchen. Just heat things and you must wash all dishes. Coffee is not provided just instant coffee. There is a coffee machine in lobby for 2euros. There is no lounge or place to go other than your room. There is a option for breakfast down in cafeteria ( you cannot use personnally just for service). It looked very ordinary. It’s more suited for university. "

"This seems to be an unfinshed hotel. The ceiling in the room was clearly waiting to be plastered/decorated. Outside areas a bit of a building site. When finished this will be a pleasant, excellently located and efficient hotel. "

"Location, atmosphere, room & staff excellent. Only minor point that the aircon did not work. It was unseasonably warm when we stayed but could have done with the room being cooler to sleep. Would stay again. Nick"
