"A free water taxi takes you to an outdoor shopping mall with some premium stores as well as local crafts. Several restaurants and more touristy souvenir shops as well. Did not try the light rail station nearby. A nice hotel away from the noise and bustle of the city yet close enough to walk to most attractions. "

The hotel surprised me with a complimentary room upgrade, and I was blown away by how spacious and comfortable the room was. It had everything I needed and more, with plenty of space to relax and enjoy my stay. The pool area is a highlight — large, clean, and with a perfect atmosphere whether you want to chill out with a cocktail or go for a proper swim. Food-wise, Solana delivers. The restaurant options are varied, with something for everyone, and the quality was consistently excellent. Whether breakfast, lunch, or dinner, there was always a fresh and tasty choice. Overall, Solana Beach gave me the mix of relaxation, service, and quality that makes for a truly memorable holiday. I’d happily recommend it to anyone visiting Mauritius — and I’d definitely return!"

"Came with the family for UK half term to get some winter sun and we all loved the place! Great boutique hotel - simple but perfect room for the 5 of us to stay in - lovely grounds and pool - and right on its own beach with sun loungers and sun sofas overlooking the crystal clear waters.
