"For the price it was a nice stay. i didn't find it clean enough. i don't really know what to expect for so little money, I think the price/quality was just ok. rooms are noisy, luckily the neighbors went to sleep quickly. all in all fine, but a little more cleaning would be nice. "

"The owners at the home were lovely and we did enjoy our stay. They were helpful and well informed on the area. The Bikes also were a nice touch. We really enjoyed riding around Bruges. However the listed price was not the total expense. When I received the bill there was almost a full nights extra "property fee." "Nice place with comfortable beds and a large kitchen. No washer/dryer, and confusing communication about the trash. Also, the deal with the sheets and towels was a total bait-and-switch. You book the place and then the company tells you there is an extra fee to have sheets and towels provided (15 euro a person, I think)? Not sure if this is common in Belgium, but is pretty unusual and did not properly represent the cost of the rental on hotels.com"

"Probably one of our very favourite hotels ever. The property was amazing. Our room(s) had a beautiful view of the canal and was well appointed. Beds were comfortable with excellent bedding. Staff were kind and helpful. We spent some time in the courtyard which was nice as well. Super quaint and lovely!"

"I really enjoyed our three nights at Getaway. First, it was easy to get to from Gint Saint Peters and also from Gent Dampoort train stations. It was really quiet our whole stay and the kitchenette was helpful. The place is really close to downtown and we got a lot of walking in to all the sites in Ghent. There isn't AC but we didn't really notice there is a fan that we used and the room did not get any direct sun. lastly, the lockers were helpful because we arrived before our check in time and we didn't waste any time seeing Ghent. I would stay here again without question."

"While it’s in an industrial area - perfect for the arena nearby - it’s also extremely welcoming, comfortable and family friendly. The food (breakfast and dinner) were both standout, the room was spacious and comfortable and the staff very friendly. The whole place is very tranquil. We’ll definitely go back. "
