"I personally liked it because my aunt lives nearby. The shopping, access to tram and city centre make this a great place to stay, A market practicallly out the door and tram down the street have easy transportation. Since it is not city centre it is in a quiet area and good service at the hotel desk."

"Great place to stay in Amsterdam. Very central and right on transit. Good breakfast with lots of choices. Love the social hour and all the social sitting spaces. They also have a beautiful cocktail bar that make great drinks with super service. I will stay again when I return."

"Getting to the hotel from the airport was simple and efficient, the train from Schipol airport to the city centre then the GVB 22 bus drops you right outside.
The staff were outstanding, checking in and out was hassle free and I was given advice on the city, tips and any query I had the staff at Ibis were professional and helpful.
The hotel location was ideal for me as it was quiet and public transport in the city is brilliant, the 22 bus was a God send, a Metro station is very close by and Sloterdejk train station is also within walking distance. Burger King is next door to the hotel and you can't go wrong with it, food and prices were both decent and staff were lovely.
The hotel itself is nice, great sustainable initiatives taken, my room was standard, the bathroom was small and curved like a pod, interestingly compact but did the job. Breakfast area and buffet was good, it had the things I like, ample seating and attentive staff.
The only small things I would say the hotel may need to look into are, the shower screen didn't have a seal at the bottom therefore water often splashed out of the cubicle and felt that I was wasting towels to dry it up which isn't very sustainable. I might have been unlucky but the wi-fi in my room was weak, I failed to get a good connection most of the time however it was a short break therefore not much of an issue. Overall I would recommend this hotel, I had a pleasant stay and thank you for making me feel welcome."

"It’s a wonderful place to stay, as the name says hotel, not hotel. That’s what makes it very unique. I have stayed in a similar place before few times around the world. But what make this place unique is the member who works there? Specially, this new manager, Tamara, she’s absolutely very, very kind person. The moment I have arrived, she had my room key ready for me. The check-in process was only a few minutes and very nicely. She explained to me about the entire facility. When I walk into my room, I see this beautiful welcoming handwriting by them sitting on the bed. It made me very happy. So I highly recommend this place.!!! "
