Plum Island hotel rooms a the Wyndham Hotels

"People nice, breakfast good. Elevator broken during our entire stay Sat-Wed. Bed comfy. Bathroom configuration too small, should have made foyer smaller and bathroom bigger, very awkward to get out of shower. No place to hang towels. Complimentary shampoo very tiny, women may need two. Quiet, did not hear other guests. "

"There were 2 terrible and nasty and rude young women with long blonde hair on arrival Wednesday the 29 of April and AGAIN when we left on Friday, May 1, 2026 at 11:38. Why don’t they have to wear name tags??? We were in room 342 (the SAME ROOM we stayed in May of 2025!) and could NOT GET HOT WATER!! When we complained at the desk, they sent someone up (AGAIN WITH NO NAME TAG or identification indicating he WORKED THERE!!) and told us in order to get hot water for a shower you have to run the water in the sink AND run the BATH water simultaneously for sometimes over 5 minutes!!! This was the SAME problem we encountered LAST YEAR!!!! No one has seen to this problem in a FULL YEAR???!!! The shower definitely needs an upgrade.. the tile on the walls is discolored and disgusting. I have had issues with 2 Hilton properties in New York in 2024 for almost the same reasons; sloppy, rude staff and FILTHY bathrooms. I will probably NEVER stay at a Hilton again as they have become comparable to a Motel 6, in my opinion. I will also send this to Ben Welsh Front office manager"

"Beautiful hotel and friendly staff.. The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. We also went to The Tavern located in the hotel for dessert at the end of the day, which was also very good. Great location. Would definitely stay here again"

"Swing chairs on the patio were fun, but the place was understaffed. The check in hours were not clearly communicated, and we were own with minimal cell signal and no wifi to get the remote check in going. The bathroom ceiling was peeling so much our kids wouldn't take a bath. The fixtures all looked new and modern, but the shower head was not something I'd ever select- possibly the most uncomfortable I've ever felt in a warm shower. The room was spacious, but beds uncomfortable. Coffee in room was terrible, but the tea was great. Full of highs and lows. With a different check in experience, the overall rating would have been a 3, but I wouldn't recommend or go back. The highs weren't worth the lows."
