"We were first offered an upstairs apartment but I explained my condition and was immediately offered a beautiful ground floor flat with all amenities We didn’t use them except the kettle and the shower was great The sitting area and bedroom was a lot better than expected All in all fully recommended for short or long stay. The town with its tree lined foot ways was a peaceful dream Parking was private and secure.. Thank you for our stay"

"Well kept, comfortable room in the center of town with walking access to the best Detmold has to offer. Be warned. It’s an old city, so parking may be a couple blocks away. And there is no elevator. Otherwise, perfect."

"This hotel has so much potential unfortunately it wasn’t to the normal standard that a three star German hotel is. The restaurant was open from 6 pm till 8 pm for dinner if you arrive at 7:45 pm it’s too late and that is ridiculous as for breakfasts The cheeses and hams and eggs weren’t replenished so choice was greatly limited.
