"Really great staff who really know the area and cultivate the farm. They can give you information on ecology you won't find outside of guided tour groups in the park, and there's also yoga. The property is beautiful and it is easy to see birds. It is a pretty primitive property and so you should be expecting bug bites and no modern comforts. Bathing in rainwater is amazing, but it is also not warm. Also the ants really bite- I was itchy for a week afterward. So be careful. "

"House was exactly as advertised and had a great view. There was a berry tree in front of the house and every day two red Macaws would perch there followed by two toucans. "Aguila del Osa is a dream hotel with wonderful views from the bedroom and main lobby/restaurant. The hotel gardens are beautiful and we saw many birds including hummimg birds right outside our room. There is a nice walk around the hotel and you can also take a trail into the rainforest and the nearby Cocalito Beach, All the staff speak excellent english and are very friendly and provide excellent service. The meals are very delicious with generous portions. The hotel offers a good range of excursions and we really enjoyed the boat trip and snorkelling in Isla del Caño. Other guests went to Corcovado National Park for the day although we opted for the overnight stay booked through another Company. We would highly recommend visiting Drake Bay and staying at Aguila del Osa Hotel."

I loved it however, both ATV transfers we asked for didn't materialise which, esp for the route back, was mildly annoying.
