Playa Hotels near Kralendijk

"Dining options were very confusing. It says to make reservations, but no one ever checked to see that we had a reservation. At the breakfast buffet, we walked in and sat down on the first 4 days and they did not want to take our room number. On the 5th day, the hostess stopped us and insisted we give our room number. She was abrasive about it and when we explained, she said "then I need to talk with my fellow employees." We booked a king size room, but got two queen beds. The response from the front desk was that they had very few king rooms, and the Expedia choice of a king was only a "request" and not a confirmed choice. The room had some mold in the shower and floor frequently had some sand even though they attended to the room every day. It is a nice, calm place, but don't expect any high-end amenities."

"The rooms were nice and clean, comfortable beds and sofa. A little difficulty communicating - welcome letter did not include the gate code so we had to ask another customer to let us in. Nice pool although chilly. Did not try the breakfast. Location convenient to many restaurants. Neighborhood a bit scruffy. Overall a nice stay. "

"Djambo is on the border btw a residential and, what they call, industrial area (mostly car mechanics, car rentals and what’s important: dive shops and supermarkets). You can walk to AB Dive, supermarkets and the town. You can walk to a beach near Sebastian’s restaurant. The hotel has such a great vibe, rooms with big terraces are wonderful, kitchens are equipped with everything you may need (including Nespresso coffee machine) and the pool is so so nice on hot days, which is every day :) Two lady hosts are awesome. Bring your soap, shampoo and conditioner. All in all, we loved it, the hotel, the island, diving and snorkeling. What an amazing place. "

"This was a perfect place near the airport for arriving and departing nights. We stayed in #6 which was good for 2 people. Nice pool, nice grounds."

"Leo was awesome!! Got us checked in right away, and was able to help us out with a rental vehicle!! The Lodge is super cute, and the beds were extremely comfy!! Will definitely stay there again! "

"The room was clean and The cleaning staff were very friendly. There is someone at the hotel 12 to 2pm. But they are available in WhatsApp. The room is located above two bar/restaurants and check-in is weird because of the times staff are there. The location is convenient. However, the bed is like 30 years old and had a broken spring which I scraped myself in. This needs to be fixed. The towel rack was broken and so was the toilet paper holder. We enjoyed Bonaire and would say this hotel is mediocre"
