"We had a great time at Hotel Catedral! The rooms were well insulated and quiet. We had a first floor room that opened directly on the courtyard and rarely heard anyone else around. We loved the space for its private mini patio as well. The staff were all very nice and we enjoyed the breakfasts and hanging at the pool (from which you can see wedding parties coming and going from the next door cathedral). "We loved staying at Casa al Mar! We were in an ocean-view suite. Very spacious, clean, and comfortable, with a balcony overlooking the Malecon. Not the quietest room as it's right above the hustle and bustle of La Paz's main drag, but super-fun in a perfect location to take in all that La Paz has to offer. The lobby and courtyard are so warm, relaxing, and welcoming, and the staff is great. Highly recommend! "

We loved the space for its private mini patio as well.
