"Our family had an awesome time staying at this resort! The only improvement opportunities I can share are: My wife and I came to celebrate our 25th anniversary and have a vow renewal ceremony. The room we were given had two small beds rather than a king bed. It took two days to get switched to a room with a king bed. A large portion of the resort was closed for remodel but this was not disclosed prior to us arriving. Food at La Hacienda was not good. Very bland flavor and could not even eat my steak. Reservation restaurant food should be better than the buffet. Other than these things, we really enjoyed our stay. All staff were amazing, friendly, and helpful. "

"Spacious and clean room, nice pool and jacuzzi. But check-in experience lengthened by invitations to a sales pitch. The food and drinks in the hotel restaurants were underwhelming, poor quality even the simplest classic cocktails."

"The rooms were very clean, staff was very friendly and helpful, outdoor pool was nice. There is no beach front and the seaweed has taken over what is there. The common areas were not busy at all, this may be due to part of the resort being residential. Overall a good resort. "

"Hotel overall was nice. However, one of the reasons we booked was the advertised free shuttle to the airport, but when we arrived, we were told we had missed a window to book and we had to pay ~$85 for transport. "

"Reception staff was so rude not at all helpful. Beach had sea weed all around. Only 3 restaurants were open. "

"Smooth arrival and check in. The room was cleaned “okay” upon our arrival to the room, although few garbage pieces were still present from previous occupants. Not a big deal but still 😐 The room cleaning is inconsistent, one day cleaned, next no, same with nightly turn down service, it was done not on every night. Concierge service in What’s app is not good and the only thing that made us unhappy. We were let down on dinner reservations many times with empty promises and no follow ups. They need to seriously work on this issue. Beach is very rocky with seaweed, although they have nice soft daybeds with shade on the beach. If great beach to swim is important to you, it’s not the place for you then. The food is amazing and portions are big but we had to tell about daughter’s nut allergies ourselves, no one ever asks about it at the time of food ordering. Would be great if they did. Also it’s about and hour to get the food after ordering, keep that in mind. The beach club is very very nice! Service is great at the beach club! Very hardworking staff 🙏 The grounds are beautiful, staff is friendly. All the cart drivers are very nice and friendly. Overall we had an excellent vacation! Will consider to come back again in the future. "
