"Overall we enjoyed our stay. The food is good, we enjoyed our time by the pool. What I didn’t like was that I had requested an early check in far in advance. When I went to check in I was exhausted and given the option of paying $250 to check in early or wait 4 hours for a room to be ready. I paid the extra $250 but felt it was a little scammy. Other than that I have no complaints but it sort of turned me off from coming back again."

"First stay at an all inclusive and it beat all expectations. We went in a slow season, and felt like we had the place to ourselves. The service was incredible, everyone was so friendly and helpful. Our room was comfortable, modern, and clean. The maid service every day was awesome. We had a couples massage at the Spa and it was wonderful and well worth the money. Food was delicious at every restaurant including the buffet. We received a free visit to Chef's Table specialty dining for our honeymoon and it was amazing. Bar drinks throughout the resort were good and strong. Bartenders are fast and attentive. The only small downside was the swim up bar and main pool bar closing at 6 PM everyday. That was pretty early for us as young adults. We did love that our building (furthest away from the main pool/beach access) had its own pool out front with a bar that was open late every day. All in all would recommend this resort to anyone. We had the time of our lives."

"Great childcare services and amenities. Great water park. Hotel room is a bit dated but not a concern for us. Plenty of food options in buffet and restaurants but reservations are required."

"We absolutely loved the different choices of pools, depending on what mood we were in for the day. The Japanese and Brazilian restaurants were our favorite, but overall the food was good everywhere. The grounds were just beautiful with a short walk to the beach when we wanted to hang out there. Overall fantastic mother/daughter vacation."

"​If you are looking for a resort that perfectly blends luxury, culture, and natural beauty, Hotel Xcaret Arte is truly in a league of its own. It is a massive, stunning property, and I highly recommend staying for at least a full week to actually maximize the experience and enjoy everything available. ​The Culinary Experience ​The food here is on another level—all-inclusive is definitely the way to go because every meal feels like a premium experience. ​Tah-Xido: The Hibachi was absolutely amazing and a must-do for dinner. ​El Mercado de San Juan: While the variety is great, the desserts here were a personal favorite. ​The Service: Across every single restaurant, the servers were amazing. In fact, the entire staff was incredible; the housekeeping team, in particular, did a fantastic job keeping everything spotless. ​The Resort & Amenities ​The beauty of this resort is almost hard to describe. It is very large, but every corner is visually incredible and the amenities are top-notch. One of the coolest features is the art classes—being able to take a pottery or painting class right on-site adds a unique layer to the vacation that you don't find elsewhere. ​Excursions ​You cannot stay here without taking advantage of the excursions. The trips to Chichén Itzá and the cenotes were highlights of the trip—well-organized and breathtakingly beautiful. ​Final Verdict: It’s a beautiful, expansive resort with fantastic staff and world-class food. If you can swing a seven-day stay, do it."

"Hotel is very nice, lots of pools and very good food. Staff is also very nice. Only thing to note some of the chairs by the pool had bird poo and coatis poo on the ground, it can’t be helped but hotel does provide beach towels and gets replaced everyday. The mini fridge and towels also get replaced & replenished daily. The beach is also really nice but we went during sargassum season, so if you want to enjoy the beach I suggest going when they’re not in season."
