"We travel to Cancun/Playa several times a year. We will definitely be returning. Staff was amazing, great entertainment and things to do all day. We upgraded to swim up/out and will skip next time. Patio small and the stones around the water are aged and need TLC. Everything else in hotel excellent and clean. We especially liked the wildlife around hotel who were very accustomed to humans."

"The grounds and the pools are beautiful. Enrique, especially, Luis and the other bartenders at the pool/beach bar are wonderful, as are Adriana, Claudia and Esteban at the Lobby Bar. We really enjoyed the daily evening cocktail with Esteban. The rooms are kept clean daily. There are plenty of food options, and while the specialty restaurant menus are not quite as good as they have been in the past, the food is still very good. Sargassum has been issue the past couple of years we’ve been here, but they do a great job of trying to keep it cleaned up. This is definitely our favorite place to stay in Playacar."
