"Nice small rooms"

"Lovely room in Bayeux that was walking distance from the train station. Proprietor was lovely and she provided early continental breakfast if needed. I encourage solo travellers to come here. Very nice small place with a courtyard. Make sure you know address when first arriving only a small plaque and red door to identify. Bayeux is a charming and beautiful Norman town. One flight of concrete steps to room."

"We did not have meals at the restaurant. The staff was very friendly and helpful. There is no fan/air conditioning working in the room, so it got a bit warm by morning. We tried opening the window, but the outside traffic noise was loud. The toilet room in the bathroom is quite small. The beds were comfortable. "

The toilet and the shower and sinks were on two different levels, and the staircase made accessing the coffee maker beneath it a bit precarious. Plus, the WiFi in the room did not work the entire three nights we were there."
