"Location and view were ideal. Hotel has been tastefully updated and well maintained. Free breakfast had plenty of choices and was delicious. Staff were very helpful and accommodating. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again."

"This was a lovely relaxing stay in a spacious clean room with a partial view over Lake Maggiore. The beds were comfortable, the room was quiet and restful. The breakfast was good value. The staff were lovely, and the hotel was generally kept in good condition and is situated in a great location just up from the railway station. The included Ticino card was great for local travel. A couple of niggles being that the available TV channels were mainly local, and nearby restaurant options for the evening were a bit limited."

"I absolutely loved everything about this place! Although there is no staff physically on site, communication through the app was excellent. The staff was very responsive and provided clear, helpful instructions that made everything incredibly easy, from check-in to the entire stay. The room was exceptionally clean, well maintained, and had everything I needed. The appliances were modern and top-notch, including a full refrigerator and freezer, microwave, and stove. It truly felt like everything had been thoughtfully provided for a comfortable stay. My favorite part was how peaceful and quiet it was. The air conditioning was wonderful and kept the room perfectly comfortable, allowing me to sleep so peacefully and restfully. This has honestly been one of the best places I’ve stayed so far. I wish there were more hotels like this everywhere around the world. Clean, quiet, comfortable, modern, and incredibly convenient. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it!"

"I arrived later in evening by motorcycle and took me a bit of time to work out I needed to login on line in the car park, but once I worked this out, the online system to open the various doors worked very well. New experience not having anyone about to help but once I muddled through it ( I’m 60) it worked surprisingly well. Most impressed. Breakfast in morning was great and pullout drawings with glass tops to see food contents was a nice design touch."

"The rooms were very clean and stylishly decorated. It reminded me of a luxury hotel from the 1980s. With one exception, the staff was very friendly and attentive. The breakfast was quite good and plentiful. I wouldn’t have dinner there again. It was good, but way too expensive—as if it were Michelin-starred cuisine. All in all, the atmosphere at dinner was far too stuffy for my liking. Ascona and the surrounding area have many fantastic restaurants, and they’re all worth visiting. Overall, we found the hospitality to be excellent, and we’ll definitely stay at this hotel again on our next visit."
