An excellent experience at Dalgreine Guest House. Quiet setting, plenty of parking space, a character building, spotlessly clean - and importantly, great hosts! The breakfasts are amazing and choices include Eggs Benedict (with ham or smoked salmon and a brilliant Hollandaise sauce) or scrambled eggs with smoked salmon. Also nice touches like individual fresh milk jugs are put out in a small fridge for the guest bedrooms. We can't wait to return!

Lovely guest house.

Just an overnight stop, very friendly, the room was lovely and immaculately clean. Breakfast was great too. Highly recommended.

An excellent place to stay

An excellent place to stay. We were up in Pitlochry area to ride Etape Caledonia and stayed at Dalgreine. The guys even allowed us a later checkout to allow us to come back after the 100 mile ride and get shower etc. Superb stuff 👍

Schönes B+B

Das B+B ist schön und ruhig gelegen. Ein etwas älteres Haus, jedoch sehr sauber und gepflegt. Die Gastgeber waren sehr freundlich und das Frühstück war ausgezeichnet. Das Zimmer war eher klein, jedoch völlig ausreichend. Für eine Nach eine sehr gute Wahl!

Raust og inkluderende

Min kone og jeg bodde her en overnatting i september. Grei parkering på eiendommen. Veldig trivelig og hjelpsom mottakelse. Vi fikk gode tips for hvor vi kunne gå ut og spise middag på kvelden. Gåavstand til puber og restaurant. Rommet vi fikk (nr.5) var rent og fint, med veldig god seng. Rommet har eget baderom med toalett og dusj, men må ut i fellesgangen for å komme til dette. Huset har felles stue til benyttelse for husets gjester. Det serveres god frokost hvor man kvelden før har fylt ut et skjema med forhåndsbestilling. Vanskelig å finne noe negativt her, men litt tungvint med bad på gangen. Vi bestilte dette rommet grunnet en språklig misforståelse og vår egen feil. Anbefaler på det varmeste å bo på Dalgreine Guest House.

5-star breakfast, but 2-star facilities

The cooked breakfast was excellent, but the facilities need updating. We had booked 2 double rooms with en-suite facilities, but on arrival we were told that one of the rooms had a separate, albeit private, bathroom. We were not pleased, especially as we had booked months before. The separate bathroom was quite spacious, but the shower cubicle was tiny and the shower itself old and inefficient. The same was true of the en-suite bathroom and at breakfast the following morning we overheard another guest making the same complaint. The parking area was very small, barely adequate. The photo of the house is taken from the front, whereas the approach is from the back, which is much less impressive. The owners of the guest house tried hard to please, but we will not stay there again until the rooms are brought into the 21st century, and for that reason, we would not recommend it.

What a pleasure to stay at Dalgreine House. We were well looked after and given an excellent breakfast. Dalgreine House had a lovely atmosphere.

静かにのんびり

鉄道を利用した場合、駅から少し距離があるので大きな荷物があるとちょっとだけ大変。 環境はとても静かでゆっくり滞在できた。朝食は前日までのセレクト方式、量も充分で満足。 オーナーもとてもフレンドリーで親切だった。 バスローブ、シャワーキャップ、綿棒、コットン、ボディクリームがあったのでとても驚いた。この手のゲストハウスとしてはとても珍しいのでは？

Exceptionnel établissement, ou tout est faisable à pied. chambre bien décorée et propre. Bon petit déjeuner et le couple à votre écoute. ce n'est pas pour rien que les guides touristiques le citent.

Beautiful B&B with huge comfy bed
