"Such a special hotel in one of the most gorgeous cities we’ve ever visited. Staying in a hotel built right into the cave made our whole experience in Matera feel even more incredible. Everything about it was breathtaking and unique, and it was definitely worth the stay. The spa in the basement was also such a nice bonus — especially after walking up and down all those hills! We absolutely loved our stay and would definitely come back."

The staff were warm, welcoming, and genuinely attentive, making us feel completely at home from the moment we arrived. The food was outstanding, beautifully prepared, fresh, and one of the highlights of our stay. The property itself is stunning. The grounds are peaceful, beautifully maintained, and full of charm. Every little detail added to the experience and made the hotel feel like such a special place to relax and enjoy Italy. Honestly, everything was perfect. The beautiful setting, wonderful food, exceptional staff, and overall atmosphere exceeded our expectations. We loved our stay and would return without hesitation.
