Station House Inn - Near Heavenly Gondola

"The regular room is small, but I have stayed here several times and I knew that. The coffee maker did not work and the refrigerator door would not latch. BUT, the onsite restaurant, Touluus(sp) is absolutely great and the onsite pool and spa and cabanas were great and had the entire pool to ourselves on one afternoon! The staff in the restaurant and bar are terrific and the owner is easy to talk to, the chef cooked out steaks to perfection and the waitress was delightful. The restaurant alone is worth staying here."

"Very clean room and cozy bed (which is very important!). They have great restaurants right next door (including Elements which is dog-friendly!) with a discount just for staying at the hotel. They have the lake right across the street too. There was also an elevator which was helpful. To get in, you need your key card so it adds extra security. Front desk was very helpful as well and responded to our call from our room right away. As a plus, they have a laundry room and the front desk was helpful with exchanging cash for quarters to use the laundry machines."

"The location of this place is beyond perfect. The views you get of the lake from the balcony is what you pay for. The property itself is very well maintained. Clean rooms, comfortable accommodations. Will surely come back to stay here. The outdoor firepit is excellent and is a great place to sit by through the evening into night. Between the balcony, the firepit and the pool, you can have a most relaxing vacation without ever leaving the property. Plenty of restaurants and cafes nearby as well as a Whole Foods and a CVS."
