"A Unique Stay with a Cinematic Vibe If you’re looking for a cookie-cutter hotel, this isn't it! The aesthetic is fascinating—a striking Gothic style with corridors that feel like a high-end hospital ward straight off a movie set. While the atmosphere is a bit moody, the rooms themselves are impressively quiet and very spacious, providing a great sense of comfort. We also thoroughly enjoyed the excellent breakfast spread and generally good onsite facilities. There were a few technical hiccups during our stay, however. The steam room was a bit of a letdown as it produced very little steam, and our room seemed to have a "ghost in the machine"—the electric curtains had a habit of opening randomly in the middle of the night. We also found the TV unplugged upon arrival, likely because it shares the same quirk of turning itself on and off. "Wonderful hotel. Clean, large rooms, extremely helpful and kind staff available 24/7. You couldn't ask for a better location its an easy walk to either Centraal or the Rijksmuseum, wonderful location to stroll from for sightseeing or people watching. I saw that people had complained about noise but we didn't notice an issue and the hotel offered ear plugs in case. The wifi was reasonable and there is a great (but not included) breakfast in the hotel. If we return to amsterdam we will no question be staying here again, seriously could not recommend it enough. "

"He enjoyed our stay at the NH collection flower market. One of the reasons we chose it. It's because the hotel was right next-door to the canal and the beautiful flower market that lined the whole street the side street behind the hotel was filled with amazing local restaurants and very accessible to get the tram to go to the various museums. I highly recommend this area because it's less touristy ."
