"Check in was pleasant. The rep made us feel welcome and other staff even opened doors for us while coming inside. Our stay was good, the bathroom had a smell but it looked clean. All was well until the next morning around 9 AM house keeping knocked on the door saying she was just checking her rooms because their system was down. Not a big deal, I laid back down since check out was at 11. About 30 minutes later still in the 9 o'clock hour housekeeping came back to our room knocked on the door and asked us when were we planning to check out? Huh? Check out isn't until 11 so why does it matter if it isn't even 10 AM yet? We were so annoyed that we got on up and left. Never have I ever had hotel staff bother us twice asking what time we were planning to check out. This may be our first and last time staying there. "

Only complaint Microtel should remove the alarm clocks from the rooms they go off in the middle of the night and it's nearly impossible to figure out how to shut it off, I think the person in the next ended up smashing it.
