"This is an excellent place to stay when visiting Oberammergau. The rooms are spacious, the breakfast excellent and the staff are very welcoming and helpful. We stayed here in 2023 and again this past July in 2025. The hotel is conveniently located in Oberammergau and is an easy walk to restaurants and shopping. If we ever return to Oberammergau we would definitely stay here again. "

"The hotel is located in a quite small town close to Linderhof palace. It works well as a gateway to Zugspitze in the south and Neuschwanstein in the west. The room is big, clean and modern. The restaurant and the breakfast are excellent. Truly a hidden gem. "

"The owners were extremely attentive and caring to our family of six. We had dinner on site which was very good with plenty of options. Our (2) rooms were across the hall of each other and the surrounding area, was limited but gorgeous with cows in the field and horses pinned up, to the delight of my grandkids. Haflingerhof is a great stop and did not disappoint at all."
