"Nice hotel and pleased we picked it. It advertises that the rooms are soundproof, which they absolutely aren’t - somehow louder than other hotels! We didn’t mind too much but we felt conscious for others as we had our baby (which is why we picked a hotel with soundproof rooms). Staff were reasonably friendly but it did feel as though they were all in a bad mood and we were an inconvenience to them. Pool is not heated but by the afternoon it’s absolutely fine and the pool area (rooftop) itself is lovely and the views are stunning which makes the whole area feel very luxurious.
Rooms are very large and comfortable. We didn’t have breakfast included but paid for it twice (€20 each) the first time was very good but second time round the food was all a little undercooked and cold - the freshly squeezed orange juice machine is fantastic.
Even when the hotel was busy, we managed to find a parking space outside the hotel which was free, didn’t have to park in the paid underground parking.
Overall, we would stay again as price was very reasonable compared to similar hotels in the area (and only roughly €10 taxi to the beach)"
"Stopped for 6-days while searching for a property. Due to this, our time was limited at the hotel but everything we encountered was clean, fresh, large rooms, comfy beds, nice garden, bar areas and pool.
Will definitely rebook in the future."
"Nice hotel, it was spotlessly clean everyday.
Very walkable location, even to the main bus station, you can hop on a bus to and from the airport for less than 2 euros. Plenty of food places nearby too.
Breakfast was great, lots of healthy options and even had soya milk which is helpful if you're vegan.
I would happily stay again."
"The Cano was a marvellous hotel providing everything a weary traveller could need, if not want.
I had requested a room with a balcony, and that is what we got.
The room itself was quite small, but it was very functional and the beds were very comfortable, and with the excellent air conditioning a good night's sleep was assured.
Bathroom included shower and bath and even provided enough basic toiletries and toilet rolls for a couple of days.
While we didn't avail of the breakfast (too early for us!), the area was bang in the middle of various top notch eating houses and a very large supermarket about 100 metres up the road.
The towns main bus station was also a two minute walk up the road.
In closing, this was a great hotel that I would have no trouble in recommending to anyone, and I'm already looking forward to a return visit in the near future."
