"B&B on huge comital estate down very long gravel drive (or lane) and restaurant is nearby. Delicious home-grown produce, fresh eggs and home-made pasta were served. Restaurant not open Monday and Tuesday but we were given a lovely snack on Tuesday we arrived.
And as we were leaving we saw a baby owl in tree!"

"We stopped here as a halfway point in a much longer drive up to Switzerland. I would love to go back for a longer stay! The hotel was charming and comfortable. Very friendly staff. The restaurant next door was outstanding. We were sorry not to have time to tour the castello."
"This hotel is quite remote but if you are looking for peace and quiet it is ideal. The buildings and rooms are traditional and spacious.
Ahmed, the host, was exceptional in his one to one service to each guest. There is a local restaurant but it was not open during my stay but Ahmed made a 3 course dinner with drinks each evening which was simple but exceptional.
As a chain hotel addict, this stay has certainly made me appreciate the personal touch that small, private hotels can bring.
