"I would not recommend this hotel based on our recent stay.
The property is outdated and appears poorly maintained, particularly the pet-friendly rooms. The carpets were old, worn, and had a musty odor. The furniture showed significant wear and tear, and the overall cleanliness did not meet expectations for the price charged. The beds were uncomfortable, and the pillows were extremely hard, resulting in neck discomfort during our stay.
Upon arrival, we also noticed that the shampoo and conditioner containers were only partially filled. Additionally, despite having four registered guests in our room, only two towels were provided.
The most concerning aspect of our stay was an interaction with an individual who identified himself as a staff member named KEVIN. At approximately 8:30 a.m., he aggressively knocked on our door and immediately accused us of failing to declare our dog. He spoke in a loud and confrontational manner and pointed his finger at my husband while making accusations.
Kevin further alleged that we had taken our dog outside at 1:00 a.m. and allowed it to relieve itself on the grass. We said we had been in our room since 7pm and were asleep at the time he referenced. We even suggested that management review the CCTV footage to verify our statement.
Our well behaved dog was properly declared during the online booking process, disclosed again at check-in, and was charged a pet fee. We hope that public & management most especially be more aware about this."
