"Check in was easy and the suite had everything that was needed for a short stay. Room was spacious and location was great. Had a I’m room laundry which came in handy. The only thing that wasn’t exceptional was the shower head. It had very low pressure and was a stationary head. Would have appreciated a strong pressure shower. Otherwise a great stay!"

Poets Cove Resort & Spa

"Poets Cove is a lovely resort on Pender Island. The facility is clean, staff are friendly and helpful. We stayed in the lodge building and the common areas appear to well kept and maintained, our room showed signs of age in terms of scrapes on door frames, ceiling fan that didn't work (several portable fans provided in the closet), There are multiple dining facilities, Aurora is open for breakfast, Syrens for lunch and dinner and the Moorings Cafe was a good spot to pick up coffee, pastry, wrap/sandwich from morning to mid day. We found the food to generally be very good and tried all three locations. We had a lovely balcony on our room that looked out over the harbour, there were 2 comfortable chairs and a small table. It would be better if the dividers between the balconies were higher so that your neighbours can't see you and vice versa. There is ample parking onsite but if you stay at the lodge, best to pull up in front and drop off your luggage at the main lodge building. There are EV chargers on site in one the parking lots, there was a Tesla charging one day and the other charger was available but I couldn't get the app to work properly. Over on far side of the property past the lower pool you can rent kayaks. We rented a two person kayak from Ilya who was very helpful and polite. We went out for a two hour paddle and enjoyed the peaceful and calm journey along the shoreline where we saw lots of starfish. Overall we enjoyed our visit to Poets Cove."
