Room is ok not that great. Too many insects because of bushes and trees all around the property. Gieco running on the floor of the room.
Had to go to the front desk every time for service. No phone/TV in the room. No light switch above the bed. Had to go to the front door to turn off lights and walk in the dark to the bed. Not convenient at all."

Immaculately clean, helpful to a fault, nothing is too difficult to organize on your behalf and OMG the breakfast is more fit for a king than us minions. Look no further if you want a hassle free stay with some (no exaggeration) of the nicest people on this world of ours. "

There was no fridge or tv which was fine. There are no supermarkets in this area but there were adequate dining options nearby. The hotel was perfectly comfortable for a short stay in Sigiriya."

"The family that runs this homestay is so incredibly sweet. They don't speak much English, but that's okay. We got by! Danu called me on the phone upon check-in to make sure everything was to my liking. The street it's on is a very local one so there isn't much around, but I had a driver so it was perfectly fine. If you were to walk, I think it would have probably taken 15 or so minutes to the rock along a scenic road :)
Danu's mother cooked me the best chicken curry I've ever had! So tasty!!...

"Really nice bungalows with very strong AC. The garden has a really nice view of Sigiriya rock. Good breakfast included, they also offer a decent buffet dinner.
Sigiriya Rock is about a 15 minute walk, whereas the main village area is a bit further. After visiting Sigiriya in the morning, we decided at the very last minute to catch the train from Habarana station (30 min drive from Sigiriya) to Colombo. We were struggling to contact a tuk-tuk driver with so little notice, so one of the employees offered to drive us in the hotel van, since he was already dropping off staff members in that direction. 10/10 service, very thankful."
