"When I arrived at this property the owner finally answered the door, she said she had no knowledge of my booking. Finally I had to email her a copy of my confirmation. This wasn't made any easier by her statement that "she spoke no English" - the website clearly states multilingual staff. (In fact it later became clear she did speak English). The 'living-room' is actually set out as a shop and did not feel welcoming - I was not invited to use it anyway. The only restaurant in Salives was unable...

"Beautiful location next to the cathedral on a quiet street but so close to shops restaurants and market. Nice to see so much thought go into the amenities in this hotel brand, warm welcome and very helpful. We stayed in connecting family rooms set up with a double bed and two singles. Perfect and great value. Would definitely stay again and look out for this brand in other cities."

"This hotel is directly across the street, to the north of Dijon Gare train station, accessible by elevator & covered walkway. Local buses are a short walk away, & able-bodied pedestrians can walk through the adjoining old town. The hotel is modern & well-equipped, with a small pool, exercise room, good buffet breakfast & on-site parking. The best feature is their wonderfully helpful, multi-lingual staff. “Iheb” & “Anthony” were particularly helpful to us. Rooms are equipped with controls for lighting, rollshutters, etc., on an iPad, which we found unnecessarily complicated — simple switches are better. Also, the wash basin is poorly designed, being too high for shorter people or children, & often dripping water all over & onto the floor, as evidenced by damaged wood flooring below."

"Well priced in a good location. The hotel has secure parking, but this is charged extra and must be booked in advance by contacting the hotel separately. This fact is not made clear by Hotels.com or Expedia which is a common problem I have encountered this year when booking hotels. They are always listed as having parking but there is always a catch which leaves me quite disappointed. Fortunately on this occasion, there was plenty of free on the street parking on adjacent streets around the hotel. The hotel offers breakfast but opposite the hotel is a lovely Boulangerie with lots of tasty options for breakfast."

"Great place to stay for an overnight travel stop - clean, modern, comfortable. Had breakfast and dinner here and both were excellent. Pool is small but great to use after a day travelling. We're travelling with dogs and they were fully accomodated. Highly recommended."

"We had a great one-night stay with family. The room was modern, clean, and well-equipped, with a kitchen that allowed us to prepare our own breakfast before heading off in the morning. The staff were friendly and welcoming. Overall, it was a great stay, and we would happily return."
