"Very clean, had kitchenette if needed. Very close to train station, which was good as we arrived for one night before taking early morning train. They gave us lots of recommendations for the town for our evening. "

"We loved our four-night stay at B&B Al Carotin. Julio is super friendly and always at hand. The property has balconies overlooking the valley and mountains, and it was so relaxing just to sit out on the balcony, drink in the views, and let your shoulders drop. We took a day trip to Tirano and took the train up to Switzerland, which is the same line as the Bernina Express. We had a couple of very enjoyable days by the lake. We'd love to come back."

"There were limited food options and very expensive however the ice cream was excellent and delicious although there could be more options as well.The bed was very comfortable and clean.The room had no air conditioner making it hard for us to sleep at night.The WiFi signal was weak and the hotel being very high up in the mountains made it difficult for us to drive up by van. However,we did enjoy our stay a lot and the view of the mountains and lake was picturesque. "

"We had an absolutely wonderful experience at this hotel. The place was spotlessly clean, beautifully designed, and decorated in a stylish modern-contemporary way. We were due to arrive after the reception’s usual closing time, but the hotel went out of their way to accommodate us, staying their until 10:30pm just so we could check in. Check-in was quick and effortless, and from the very start, the service exceeded our expectations. One of the owners personally helped us, and she was simply phenomenal — warm, welcoming, and genuinely caring. She even went above and beyond to help us with our travel plans, looking up Bernina Express train times and sending the information to me via WhatsApp. The breakfast the next morning was delicious and set us up perfectly for our onward journey. This was the perfect pit stop before catching the Bernina Express, and we left feeling well-rested, cared for, and very impressed. We would not hesitate to stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area."

"The Hotel Centrale in Tirano is lovely. The check in experience was very easy. The hotel staff were very friendly and professional. The rooms were very well appointed. The bath towels were oversized which I really appreciated. It is well located to walk to cafes, restaurants, sights etc. I would definitely stay at this gem of a hotel again. "
