"My experience at Mendo Bungalows was nice. I liked the size of the cabins and the location was closest in town to the wedding venue which was in the forest. It was a good value in my opinion for having an ocean view as well. The bed was cozy and the rooms were clean. I liked the fireplace and tv. Parking was plentiful. There was some sort of bird cooing in a nest somewhere above us which was kinda funny, but not a problem for us. Just nature I guess! Overall I would stay here again. 4 stars only because it felt a little more worn, musky smelling, not fresh and definitely not brand new like in the pictures the website showed."

"Really enjoyed every single thoughtful touch on the property. You can tell that this is their pride and joy. The happy hour skewers and snacks were delightful. Beautiful location on top of the hill. The views of the ocean are stunning and the courtyard is very beautiful. There are lovely wooden carvings and corn hole and darts to play in the courtyard along with lovely seating. We enjoyed our private patio very much and our room was wonderful. Felt very thoughtfully and tastefully put together. The eco friendly fireplace was really cute. Staff is wonderful. Highly recommend and wish we stayed longer!"

"We had a great stay. Quiet, beautiful area a block away from shops and dining. The property was pristine and very nice rooms. The Continental breakfast was a step above the normal, especially the pastries and coffee from a local bakery. Very friendly staff. Highly recommend."

"This was a great night stop for us on our roadtrip up the California coast. The rooms were clean and comfortable and the front desk was responsive and helpful. While the cars from the nearby bridge were loud at night, they did not significantly detract from the experience. We even got lucky with our “no view ground floor rooms” and ended up getting a wonderful view of the harbor after all."
