"Had an excellent stay. Clean cozy modern rooms. Excellent shower. Friendly and helpful staff throughout the hotel. GREAT BREAKFAST. Please keep up the good work and stay on top of your hotel! Only negative thing is that one night a terrible odor permeated my room via the AC. This is on the second floor and it’s happened before during a previous stay. So something is definitely wrong and needs to be investigated to find what is causing that smell. Smelled like sewage. I had to turn the AC off to get rid of the smell."

"We visited Jalandhar in Aug 2026 and stayed at The Maya. We booked on hotels.com -straightforward booking process and good discounted rates! The Maya is centrally located ,with easy access to local amenities and public transport. I would like to particularly mention the front desk staff - very professional and very helpful. They were all lovely to speak to and greeted with Sat Sr Akal on the phone /in person which I value very much .Nothing was too much trouble .Staff celebrated the Independence day during our stay-they hoisted the flag and decorated the hotel . Food-plenty of choices for breakfast but I feel the quality of food could be worked upon. I still remember Maya from years ago ,when the food here was the talk of the town. I guess I was probably looking for the same quality. Room- comfortable and clean as were the common areas. Good wifi but maybe change to better tv s .The bathroom is a bit cosy but worked okay. Gym-basic gym setup and functional ,helps if you have a long stay Over all a great experience and we will be staying here again!"

"The Hotel Staff were excellent and truly helpful especially Gagan & Pavinder, who were always there whenever I needed something. Rooms were clean and maintained. The Air-con was great as the heat outside was over 40c. The Hotel needs to have more rooms and also a swimming pool and fully functional gymnasium and games room with a pool table, maybe a Spa as well? Also a Tech room, where one can go and use their own computers and fully functional fax and printing services. The Bar and Restaurant was also very nice and clean, I will most definitely stay here again on my next visit."
