"This is an excellent place to stay. Room is big, clean and quiet. Also the water pressure in the shower is amazing. I would definitely stay here again. "

"The place was "interesting", not really for me. Cons: I don't like that the hotel doesn't open until 2pm, and when calling, I did not get a call back. Also the couch needs a good professional cleaning and the door locks were problematic for me. PROS: I did like the rustic, homey feel, the bathroom bathing area and the large and spacious room. "

"Everything was clean and comfortable. Our room was exactly as described. We accidentally triggered one of the locks, but the manager was super nice and took care of it promptly. (Thank you!!) I wouldn’t mind staying here again, as it was perfect for our stay in Philadelphia. I would definitely recommend!"

"The exterior was absolutely neglected and felt unsafe to stay in that side of town. I was denied a refund. And had to get another hotel. The pictures online are deceiving. "

"Expedia was fine. But this property was very fair. It was managed by Capital Hotel. A VRBO.
I tried to call Capital Hotel before check in .. no call back. I did receive a check in text on a chat line that was monitored. Requested a later check out. None granted.
The check in directions required that we read them 4-5 times to put all the pieces together. Also the place was advertised as a 2BR. When the check in info came in, it was noted as a one bedroom. So I got nervous. Turned out to be a...

"The beautiful river front photo you see on the website is NOT the property or even very close to where it is. An address is not provided until you pay the extra nonrefundable cleaning fee and only right before check in time. That’s when they also supply the FOUR different codes required to access the property. No amount of codes could have made me feel safe enough to stay there. I knew right away when I pulled up that it was an awful area and downright scary! The check in email is also when they...

"We were exhibiting at the Philadelphia Convention Center, so the location was fantastic (across the street) but that's not all. Right next door to the Reading Market Terminal (Yum) and walking distance to good restaurants, short cab rides to Rittenhouse Square or Independence Hall. The hotel was clean, staff was helpful, and the parking worked perfectly (some apprehension about being charged by a phone app!). "

"Located in the heart of center city, CQ is a 30-min walk from 30th St Station. One block away is Bruno Bros, a great food and wine emporium, The Parkway museums and institutes are. 20-30 min on foot. My room was fine, bathroom oddly designed/a tight fit. Lobby coffee is weak but more than the 2-oz Nespresso pods in room. Remarkably quiet."
