Great location but needs refurb!

Nice location, but the property is in need of an upgrade of the rooms and fixtures. Especially for the price they’re charging.

I love the communication with the property. My flight was delayed, and I wanted to make sure that I would be able to have access to my room. They responded in good timing. I was able to access my room. In the morning, I talk to a German man at the front desk. That was very helpful and very kind. Would recommend.

Close to the beach

While i have to ring a number at check inn, the check in was smooth and easy to check inn, staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and tidy, lovely small semi self contained room. 5 minute walk down the hillto the beach, 5 minute drive to hillarys boat harbour. hotel is located in in a quite place,i would stay here again. Only down fall is parking is limited.

Certainly not on my go back to list. No reception staff at 2:00pm. The room allocated after retrieving key from locker, stunk of wet carpet which was confirmed after entry. This smell was present all night. Bathroom door unable to close due to wood swollen by moisture. Entrance door seal possibly non existant as light comes through.

Very run down. But in excellent location. There was building maintenance ongoing while we were staying there. Wasn’t very clean , room smelled of damp. Would it stay there again until renovations are completed.

booking, key collection and drop off were excellent. Significant background noise levels were present overnight and early morning. Including rattling sliding doors to balcony. Unfortunately I am a very light sleeper so did not get much sleep on first night and gave up on second night and left at 1am.
