Vacation off the highway

Nice rooms. Great staff. Loved the pool and the BBQ area. Stopped here on a road trip and would have stayed an extra day or two if i had time. Nice comfortable relaxing place.

A good place to sleep

We were looking for a place to sleep during our road trip so we checked in late and left early. The room was clean. You can tell they were trying to do updates. The lamps in the room were still in plastic. Breakfast area was bright and welcoming.

So we booked this place late for the eclipse and they charged us more than I have ever paid for a hotel in my life, I hope they shared some of that with employees. It was hard to find the unmarked entrance road in the dark. The rooms are very spacious. The decor is something of a time capsule, mercifully clean. Noisy but functional air, ancient mini fridge. Boiled eggs, cereal, or waffles for breakfast. No coffee after 10am.

I got there and the room i was put in smelled disgusting, there was garbage in the draws, no towels. I asked for a different room and that seemed to be a bother. Then when i was finally put into another room, the beds were all torn apart not made at all. I was also never put in the one-bed room i booked. I was put in two-bed rooms all three of the times i was moved to a different room.
