"We only chose Jameson Inn due to not experiencing any issues at another location and fully understand they are independently owned and operated. We checked in one day early and was allowed to use the same rate. The male employee/owner that I interacted with was nice to answer all questions, until checkout. Our room was next to the complimentary breakfast entrance so kind of noisy. We did not experience any bedbugs. It’s questionable to say when the floors last seen any type of cleaning, hair on bathroom floor and piled up behind the beds, rag was used to clean up a spill from the floor that was brown when picked up. Cracks in the door so we experienced several bugs. Mattresses, very FIRM-not our thing. As we were showering on our day of departure, the swivel shower head came off which was immediately reported. When I arrived at the checkout desk the same male employee/owner was not present at the desk so I calmly waited. As he entered the breakfast area and saw me standing at the desk, he simply stated yes, I held up the room key as I was turning around to notify him that I was checking out to where I was advised to “just leave”, never greeted at the check out area, just conversation from two different areas. Free continental breakfast-milk in glass canister clobbered, Sunny D orange beverage, pecan swirls from the local grocery store, 3 varieties of cereal, english muffins, bread, a gas station type coffee dispenser. Overall experience-we won’t be a returning guest 👎. "
