"Fabulous Villa Katerina! Totally private and in a stunning, quiet spot with lovely views. We loved the spacious living area and well-equipped kitchen, but the outside was so special - we ate every meal on the terrace and used the bbq every night. The heated pool was gorgeous and so much bigger than we expected! Our host Rosanna was very helpful and easy to contact, and she had provided some food essentials when we arrived, which was a nice touch. The daily housekeeping was much appreciated too. Loved it, we’ll be back!"

"Afroditi was an amazing host, we had such a wonderful time staying with her in Agia Effimia. We were welcomed, shown around our room and given detailed recommendations of things to do on the island. The room was beautiful, immaculately clean and had a fantastic view of the marina. Her son, Gregory also has a fantastic cafe on the front with a discount for guests staying at the Ionian suites - the food was great. We had a lovely time, and we will definitely be back. "A lovely hotel with fantastic, friendly staff and a great location - if you have a car you can get to almost anywhere on the island in approx. one hour. Also close to Sami main town - about a 15 minute walk along the coastal path where there are lots of nice restaurants"

The pool and garden were peaceful and relaxing - although the pool was too cold for us in October! The room was extremely comfortable and had everything we needed - and more! Every little detail had been considered in its design and was delightful. The owners and staff members were super friendly and helpful. "Excellent balcony view. Much better than the images online. Easy walk up to it. Only two things that need improving is the air conditioning is very loud in the bedrooms and living room (although you can leave it on when you go out!) and theres nobody at reception until you call them (they leave a number at the door and they come up in 2minutes). We would definitely return"
