"The cottage is fine and it is in a nice location BUT the details of the cottage listed on the Expedia website and Sykes Cottages are different and misleading. Expedia shows the cottage to be within the Penzance city centre & 8 minute walk from the ferry terminal. The cottage is 8 miles (13 kms.) from the Penzance city centre. "Firstly, position of Hotel is surreal. Breakfast is excellent, very good choice. All the staff we met were fabulous without exception. The room had recently been refurbished newly decorated, new drapes (carpet as well I think) the Bathroom was out of this world/ hi pressure/lots of hot water. My only confusion was all this effort then cheap standard double bed with too soft cheap mattress and worn old bedside cabinets and dressing table. Definitely worth a visit with all the walks and the cute little farm."
