"Beautifully renovated, plenty of space, great location, a wonderful view. What more could you want? "

"D12 treetops at Clarach bay is a lovely setting. Family friendly and lovely staff. We had hot water and good recycling facilities. The site was perfect. However, some of our bedcovers had chocolate on them!!! We found spares to use instead. The green headboard on the main bedroom had a strong smell of unwashed hair ( it seriously needs to be replaced). We had no WiFi and on enquiring we were informed the previous guests had used it up? There were plenty cleaning materials and cooking facility...

"We as a family of 5 + a 3 yr old spent a delightful week at Penuwch Fach in July/August 2024. We were attending an interment and celebration of life nearby so the location was perfect. We were met by the owner and there was a welcome wine/biscuits plus tea and coffee. There is a Nespresso Gusto machine too plus a few pods :). "Chalet was clean on arrival, well equipped with cook top, multifunction microwave/convection oven( I took my own air fryer) site easy accessible, good parking, centrally located so able to visit both both and south Wales easily. Chalet was good value for price. "

"Location excellent. Grounds and gardens beautiful with plenty of wildlife. Cottage quaint but in need of modernisation. Kitchen basic but needs new drawers as couldn't open many. Not much surface space to prepare food on. No where to keep supplies purchased other than work surfaces and fridge. Shower was not great, needs to be attached to the wall. "Spectacular views. Clean, charming cabin, tiny but cosy and fully equipped. Welcome gifts, easy communication with lovely landlady Sarah, privacy, peaceful and serene. Hot tub was a huge bonus. Garden with furniture and bbq. Pristinely clean and safe for our small dog. Will be back. "

"I would like to extend a great thanks to the Hafod hotel. Close proximity to attractions, bedroom was lovely, cosy and warm, staff were absolutely impeccable I could not remember names but you all were very hospitable and love your job dearly and did a great service for any request we needed… I even left my bag and they kept it safe. Would come again."

"Lovely staff. The sunday roast was one of the best I've had from a restaurant ( & plenty of it ). The sea view was incredible, we actually saw dolphins from our room. There was ample tea/coffee & milk, a large tv but the beds were absolutely incredible, they were so comfortable as was the linen. If I was to stay again in New Quay I would 💯 stay at the Penwig hotel again xx"

"I had a really lovely stay, my room was small but tastefully decorated. There were a few marks on the wall that could do with touching up. The tea tray was good quality as was the breakfast. The best thing about this hotel it the staff who were all fabulous. Be careful of the parking as its only 4 hours on the front so best park at the back if possible."
