"This is an ideal home if you fancy a game of golf, a spa treatment, Wildlife walking through the gardens such as monkeys, dassies and duikers. There are a couple of restaurants within walking distance. You can also drive into Scottburgh for shopping or other restaurants The grounds are lovely to walk around but you also have the beach within close proximity if you fancy a walk on the beach instead"

"Overall stay was nice. Check in for 3pm is too late, was not allowed to check in before the time, although the next day other people was in their rooms just after 1pm. Was not allowed to ait outside amd talk because then the security would tell you not to make a noise, security is very rude at night. This place is a holiday place, not an old age home. "The location and setting was perfect, very tranquil and peaceful. Enjoyed the walk around the picturesque golf course. Just what we wanted for the 4 night long weekend. Hotel, restaurant and golf club staff were very accommodating, polite, keen and very patient. However the Spa service was poor, no communication as to the treatment requirements or during the actual treatment, probably the worst massage I have had. The time period for the treatment was supposed to be 50 minutes but the masseuse left quietly after 35 minutes. Wouldn't recommend the Spa if visiting this hotel. The room was spacious and comfortable but does require some maintenance throughout. The hotel breakfast was spot on, but did have an issue with overcooked food for dinner, on the one night that we ate in the hotel restaurant, this was reported it to the head chef who assured us that the issue would be be investigated and rectified. The meals we had at the golf club house were found to be decent with no problems. Really enjoyed the facility and hotel ambience. "
