"Upon arrival the owner met us and unlocked the front door to reception, not friendly at all, we were told restaurant was available only for breakfast which was too late for us as we were catching a ferry. We were told to always use the back door for access, as front door would be locked, strange for a hotel, but the most annoying thing was the look on her face , she looked at us like we were a piece of dirt from under her shoe, unbelievably rude to say the least. "We like this hotel chain - is simple, and extremely good value for a family of four. You aren’t getting luxury, but is all you really need for a short stop over. At this one in the chain, the beds were comfortable, and the room a reasonable enough size. Also had air conditioning - was really great to walk into such a cool room on a boiling hot day. The car park felt very secure - we had no problems parking as don’t think the hotel was full, but it was clearly too small for a hotel of this size...

"We arrived 2.5hrs before check-in and room wasn’t ready. We were abruptly told check-in was 3pm. We sat inside the bar area for 2hrs as it was raining heavy outside. We got our room at 2:30. Room was a large room with large bathroom which had twin sinks, bath & shower. Huge bed, sofa, two chairs and a coffee table. Nice an airy room. No AC but Arras is about 10 degrees lower than other parts of France we visited so didn’t bother us too much. You get a safe and clothes steamer. No iron or ironing board. Asked for one from reception and was told we don’t have them. The steamer was poor. We didn’t eat or drink in hotel as plenty of choice in town. We reserved a car park space for 10 euro per day. I’d recommend this as only about 14 spaces available. Beautiful looking hotel in a great area."

"We stayed in the loft. It was ok. No aircon as far as we could tell, however it was quite cool on a very hot day (35+ deg c). Restaurant and breakfast is too expensive. It’s in the middle of nowhere, so not great for if you want to go do stuff in town. Staff were friendly and accommodating."
