"Fabian and Selina were exceptional hosts. Their property and rooms are perfect for a Lisbon countryside experience, with a great view and fruit trees. You couldn't ask for a nicer breakfast. "The location is great - walking distance to surf and restaurants, the space in the room we stayed in was good and had a private balcony and the common areas were generally clean. A couple of strange things - for somewhere that is a "shared house"/hostel type the people who work/"hosts" were very unfriendly, there were 2 females who wouldn't even acknowledge us during our stay (walking into the kitchen and wouldn't even make eye contact or make conversation - mind you I commented on their food...

"The staff are lovely, and the location is manageable if walking is your primary mode of transportation. The convenience of having a surf school in the basement is a huge plus. The only things that stood out negatively were the lack of room cleaning (they claim to change the sheets every 2-3 days, yet they never did during my week-long stay). At times it feels like they put a lot of commonly expected services behind a paywall (pay x to be able to use the gym, pay x to get fresh sheets, etc.)"
