"We chose to stay in a tent, for the experience, for the one night we spent in Peniche. The place is great, really well thought out, very clean and comfortable. The only problem was that the tent had a mouldy smell, which made actually spending time in the tent and our sleep uncomfortable. The breakfast was good enough, but lacked vegetables. The restaurant staff is very friendly, the food is basic, but food enough if you don't want the hassle to go out. "

, fun games room, hotel felt very safe for a pre-teen to have a bit of independence, big grassy area for playing cricket etc, wetsuit dip & drying room. Brilliant to have surf lessons including transport organised by hotel, but only private lessons for under 12s. 10 mins walk to beach. Great breakfast, lots of choice, but lunch & dinner only ok - felt expensive for what it was, but lots of other food options nearby."

"As others have noted, this is an undeniably beautiful place. We stayed in two suites--an ocean view suite on night one, and the master suite on night two. The rooms were both very comfortable and well-appointed.
