"Hotel.com act like a scam. I didn't know that the Ty Nant hotel was only for students. After contacting Hotels.com several times, it was impossible to get the deposit back. Therefore, Hotels.com has miscommunication with Ty Nant hotel and I been lie about the refund. Keep up the good work Hotels.com Anyway, it doesn't matter what's my opinions. "Unfortunately stayed on a weekend with a wedding, where we were on the first floor above the disco. There's non existent sound proofing and sticky doors that slams as you try to close them. Beware there's also no air con or fans. On the plus side, we had a nicely renovated room and the staff were friendly. We would have loved to have used the spa facilities but the swimming pool closed at 8pm and the spa was closed at that bank holiday weekend."

"Location was good near the train and town centre. The room was comfortable shower was not very powerful but managed to get wet. The staff were really friendly and helpful, despite it being busy both days i was there. Breakfast was good but limited choice of hot food if you;re veggie. All in all the stay was good, decent pub across the road although the hotel had a good choice of beer."
