"Everything was OK. Room was clean enough and quiet and the AC was quiet and functional. Nothing dreadful, but things like one of the two elevators was out of service. We are able-bodied and didn’t have a ton of luggage, so we could take the stairs when we needed to. The pool was open but super crowded with kids. The breakfast area was OK, but the coffee machine would have been too slow if there had been more adults trying to get coffee. HIE in general could do better with breakfast options.
Staff was pleasant but seemed a little overwhelmed and under-trained. We couldn’t get connected to WiFi for awhile, but there was a cell tower nearby and we have unlimited data, so it was just a mild annoyance."
