"This was a good experience! We were welcomed by the owners son, who made us feel very welcome and made us 2 fresh cappuccinos on arrival. The view of the landscape from this location was breathtaking. The room was very pretty with exposed brickwork and arches. The amenities in the room were very much appreciated and useful - washing machine, a rack to dry clothing, hairdryer, TV, tea a coffee etc. The olive shower gel and hand wash smelt amazing! "This place is beautiful, with beautiful rooms and spa. The only problem is that the majority of the spa pools are too hot to use. The drinks are incredibly expensive and we didn't see anybody ordering them around the pool. The smoked salmon at breakfast is worth the return alone. The spa upkeep could do with a little improvement. Great that the kids can use the spa. Would be great if there was a kettle or coffee machine in the room. The changing rooms had an awful smell. Staff were lovely - particularly the porter. Turn down service was much appreciated. Breakfast was wonderful!"
