Hotels near Paynes Prairie Preserve State Park

"We reserved a room with a king size bed, handicap accessible. Room was on the 4th floor, but there was an elevator. Room had two queen size beds, standard bathroom. Not sure what part of that was handicap accessible. I need a walk-in shower and we prefer a king size bed."

"Staff very friendly, rooms very clean. Cookies at the front desk amazing. Hotel is in a great location walking distance to alot of restaurants and shopping. Only 1 minor inconvenience was the waiting at elevators in the morning because of housekeeping and workers holding it on other floors. But overall great place and would stay again when in town."

"This is a very old hotel in Gainesville. It's convenient to the University, local restaurants and shopping. The breakfast is fair quality at best, Cracker Barrel is right next door. The staff in the daytime was outstanding, but not so friendly at night. Parking is a challenge with most way off to the side of the property. "
