"Our room was clean with a view of the lake! It was spacious enough for three people to comfortably move around. There was complimentary water, juice and beer in the fridge. The staff was friendly, the food was very good The hotel’s location to the Christmas market and train station was ideal! "

"Superb location, stunning views from room and reception, excellent service and facilities. Nicolas at the reception made our stay super special, with his great personality. We observed him making each guest feel valued and special. Nothing was too much trouble and a wealth of information was given to us to make the best of our short 2 night stay. Hotel was next to bus stop, and direct access to the lake side promenade too. Room was very clean, very comfortable beds, amazing shower and a fridge. Loved the shutter for windows and the awnings that cover the balcony in sunnier times. Improvement needed: minor maintenance issue of the power plug cube being broken off its stand on one side of the bed and night stand shades need tightening. 2 coffee pods per day for 2 people in a room is not generous at all, especially when you charge Chf 4 per extra capsule. That said, we had an outstanding stay and the only regret was we were not staying longer. "

"This is such a great place! ok, rooms are slightly small but given the price and location and amenities, it is value for money 1) we love that the rooms have no TV there are manual crossbows in the rooms which we play with our kids just before bedtime 2) close proximity to eateries the xmas market was just right infront of the hotel we loved the atmosphere! Rivalto, an italian restaurant nearby serves great pasta as well 3) we love the communal kitchen!! traveling with a big group of 6 meant eating out is expensive and often may be hard to find seats we love that we are able to cook in the communal area where coffee n hot chocolate and sparkling water is free flow!! "

"This place was super clean, very centralized to old town bern and the train station that I rarely took the bus. I even walked alone at night and felt safe. it exceeded my expectations and you get a free bus pass. I will definitely be back! "

"The hotel is mostly trying to be automated. Staff was helpful. Room was fantastic and well equipped. The hotel also gives you a code to use transit in Bern for free. No parking available on site when I went so I had to scramble. But the hotel was still a great value. "
