"After a 6-hour drive, my stay began with a frustrating check-in. The night clerk’s communication was unclear and dismissive. I was asked to step aside, then called back without explanation, and later handed paperwork with no guidance after returning from my car when tap-to-pay wasn’t accepted.
Dining that evening raised concerns as well. My 3 year old child was given fries with sriracha ketchup without any warning, despite saying he was hungry. He kept saying they were spicy, and the server never acknowledged it, even though regular ketchup was available.
The next morning, while ordering breakfast to go, I was mid-sentence asking about timing when staff walked away to assist another table. She later returned, slid the bill over with little interaction, gave nearly incorrect change, and then asked for a tip. When I expressed that the interaction felt rude, the apology didn’t feel genuine.
Additionally, housekeeping knocked twice before checkout time, which felt intrusive.
Overall, the experience lacked professionalism, communication, and attentiveness. As someone with years of dining room management experience, I know the standard of service—and this fell short. I also left feeling uncomfortable with how I was treated and questioned whether all guests are given the same level of respect."
