"The views were incredible and the food at the restaurant were really good. The workers slap very nice and accommodating. However our room had bugs and ants all over it; bathroom, floor and even the bed. It’s unfortunate because this is a very nice / scenic / quiet spot. "

"The place is a rental property rather than a hotel. The host Carla was very friendly and responsive. The view was amazing. However, the property could use some serious work. There were holes on the wall, stains on the couch, splashes on the kitchen window shades, mold or stains on bathroom ceiling. The bathroom sink doesn’t work. "We loved our stay at the Cerro Lodge. The grounds are beautiful and well maintained, and wonderful for bird watching. Our room was very clean and comfortable, and the staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. The restaurant was a very comfortable place to be, and the pizza was delicious! Between birdwatching, floating in the pool, and enjoying the restaurant/observation deck, we were able to fully relax at Cerro Lodge!"
