"I had great hopes for this hotel but fell short a little. The property is nice and well done but does not offer anything beyond a room and a, lets call it "sufficient" breakfast. Unless you use the spa area which looks great on the pictures, there is just nothing else. The view is great, the location is great and the hotel is in great condition. Hence the reason for the 5-star but it sure is lacking something a little more. Parking is a bit of a pain and loading/unloading should be better...

"The hotel is at the hill of Talkero with beautiful view. They have the bus with several stop to Lerici which is quiet and scenic. We had the seafood spaghetti two times at the Restaurant Defanio and he restaurant nearby Ristorante Il Gambero Nero. They are phenomenal. The hotel also has great breakfast. The welcome drink is a plus. The balcony room with the sea breeze also veryy nice. We enjoyed our stay."

Incredible restaurant just up the street (il Borgo di campi) family owned, great food, two of the best meals we had on our trip to Italy. Hotel staff were incredibly friendly and helpful."

"Hotel is outstanding, it’s over 500 years old and it’s immaculate, food was great, very quiet, first time we have ever stayed in a Palace, room was large with a King bed. My only criticism is that it doesn’t have a true shower. Staff were so polite and accommodating ….we loved the place. Shout out to Lucia who checked us in made us feel so welcome. Prepare to walk uphill to your room but this should be expected…you are in Italy after all! The town is beautiful and so are the other villages. "Nous avons adoré cet hôtel! Personnel très serviable et au soucie des clients. La navette pour descendre en ville était très pratique mais devrais passer plus souvent qu’une seule fois par heure car il y avait seulement 8 places, donc si plusieurs personnes sont avant vous, vous devez marcher 30 minutes pour descendre ou attendre 1h. Le déjeuner était excellent. L’hôtel magnifique. La chambre était propre et bien ordonné"
